One of the most common insecurities for men is penis size. Sometimes hormones or genetics can cause you to have a small penis. Or perhaps you just have an average-sized penis but you wish were bigger. Although this condition isn’t serious, it can take a toll on your personal relationships and sex life. Fortunately, there are things you can do to change your penis size. Many men experience success with penile enlargement surgery in India.
Being preoccupied with the size of your penis can lead to lower self-esteem and even performance anxiety. But through penile enlargement surgery, you can feel more at ease in the bedroom. Getting your penis surgically enlarged can boost your confidence and allow you and your partner to experience greater sexual satisfaction.
This procedure has become increasingly popular in recent years. In the coming years, getting penile enlargement may become as normal as getting a breast augmentation. But there are also a lot of misconceptions about what penile enlargement surgery is and isn’t. If you want the facts before you contact a penile enlargement surgeon, keep reading!
Why Get Penile Enlargement Surgery?
There are a variety of reasons why you might seek out penile enlargement surgery. Many men get this procedure if they have micropenises or are simply unsatisfied with the size of their penises. If you’ve suffered genital trauma from an accident, your penis could have been altered, making it smaller. Penile enlargement surgery in India may be able to correct this. If you have Peyronie’s Disease, the blood flows unevenly in the sides and bottom of your penis, causing an irregular, deformed erection. If you have a neurogenic bladder, your penis may have decreased in length. Penile enlargement is a solution to both of these conditions. Some men have extra skin removed during circumcision. This is known as aggressive circumcision and it can cause some irregularities with your penis. Penile enlargement may be able to reverse some of this damage.
Some men’s penises may decrease in size with age. If you’ve gone through prostate cancer treatment, your penis may be smaller than it used to be. But penile enlargement surgery can help restore the size of your penis – and restore your confidence.
There are other reasons for getting penile enlargement surgery. For example, you may have extra fat around the abdomen area that makes your penis appear smaller than it actually is. Penile enlargement surgery can also help improve the appearance of your penis in this type of circumstance.
Girth Increase:
2 methods:
- Fat transfer or silicon sheath implant.
Girth increase by fat transfer is natural (no implant) but it’s not permanent. Girth increase is by fat injection. About 50% of fat gets absorbed within six months so if girth increases 1.5 inches immediately after surgery, it will remain only about 0.75 inches after six months.
This 0.75 inches is permanent. If you want further increase in girth, then we can do one more procedure and again after six months of the second procedure, 0.75 inches stays permanently. So after two procedures, about 1.5 inches girth increase is permanent.
Girth increase by silicon sheath implant is permanent.
Surgery Methods
Surgery can change your penis size two ways: lengthening and widening. Some patients may get one or the other procedure, while other candidates will choose to get both kinds of penile enlargement. Penile lengthening is more common than widening. These are cosmetic procedures, but they can make a big difference in your life if you’re dealing with relationship issues, sexual frustration, or low self-esteem stemming from penis size. That being said, it’s important to have realistic expectations before you get penile enlargement surgery. You can expect to get two to five centimeters of extra length or up to two and a half centimeters of width. Longer or wider than this is usually not possible.
Lengthening Surgery:
The procedure will depend on the type of surgery you’re getting. If you’re getting a lengthening surgery, your surgeon will begin by cutting a ligament in your pubis. This changes the angle of the penis. More of the penis will be hanging down, which makes it seem longer when flaccid. Sometimes the surgeon will combine this method with another procedure such as taking some fat from by your pubic bone.
Widening Surgery:
When you get a widening surgery, your surgeon will transfer fat from other areas of your body to your penis for extra girth. You can be average weight and still have plenty of fat for the surgeon to work with. Your surgeon will assess the best place to take the fat from. The surgeon injects the fat into your penis shaft to increase the width. The problem with this technique is that sometimes the fat gets reabsorbed into the body. If that happens, your penis could become curved or asymmetrical. This isn’t the only method of adding width to the penis. Surgeons can also graft cells from somewhere else in your body to the shaft of your penis. This is less invasive than the fat injection method.
Recovering from Penile Enlargement Surgery
You’ll likely have some swelling in your penis for a few days after surgery. You’ll immediately be able to achieve erections following your surgery. However, you should not have sex for six weeks after your surgery. Because of this, your surgeon might give you medication to prevent erections. Avoiding intercourse and masturbation is key to your recovery. Two months after your surgery, you’ll probably begin to see extra width. At this point, your body is experiencing more blood flow from the extra body fat, causing additional width. As you heal from surgery, you should also avoid vigorous exercise. If you get the lengthening procedure, you will need to take steps to prevent the ligament from reattaching. Sometimes your surgeon will instruct you to work with weights or stretching devices to keep your penis stretched out. This is a daily commitment for about six months if you truly want to see lasting results. You’ll also experience some pain after your surgery, which is normal for any kind of surgical procedure. Your surgeon will probably prescribe pain medications for at least a few days. As long as you follow your surgeon’s recommendations, the results of your penile enlargement should be permanent.
Penile Enlargement Surgery Complications
Surgery for any reason can lead to complications. Some of the most common complications include:
- Swelling
- Infections
- Abscesses or nodules under your skin
- Scarring
- Sexual problems including erectile dysfunction
- Fat Buildup
- Decreased sensation in the penis
- Penile deformity
One of the best ways to protect yourself from these kinds of complications is by choosing an experienced surgeon who has performed many successful surgeries. It’s also important for you to follow the surgeon’s instructions on how to take care of yourself after surgery. Usually, widening the penis carries a greater risk of complications than lengthening does, though this can vary.
Are you considering going through a second procedure? Sometimes, you may want an even bigger penis after you’ve gone through surgery. Luckily, it is possible for you to have a second successful surgery. However, you need to wait six months to fully recover from your first surgery before having a second.
